In this part , you can listen to the three examples as many times
as
you need, till you are ready for the next formal rating part.

And you don’t need to save the
ratings.

Listening & Judgment

Dear friends,

Many thanks for your coming.

You will be asked to listen to 88 reading materials and then
give the scores for each speaker. The 88 readings will be divided into three
sessions, 30 recordings in each session.

Each recording is around one minute long, but you don’t have
to listen to each one completely before giving the score. My suggestion is to listen to 30 seconds which could be long enough (according to personal experience and previous studies).

Now you are going to Step by Step and will finish the judgment easily

1. Go to ‘ Examples ’ firstly --- This part
is for your practice of listening and rating.

2. Go to ‘Session 1 ’ folder secondly --- You will find a clue there.

3. It's time for a tea/coffee break .

4. Go to ‘ Session 2 ’ thirdly ---- as
same as in ‘Session 1’.

5. Another break if you like

6. Go to ' Session 3 ' fourthly ---as same as in 'Session 1' and Session 2'.

Then, that's it.

TIPS from other listeners and my personal experience

Make sure that DO UNDERSTAND the criteria before listening.

Please DO REMEMBER to save the file for your
	‘Ratings’.

Using headphone will help you to concentrate
	easily.

DON’T HESITATE on the judgment and believe in
	your feeling / intuition.

At Last, but not the least

Many thanks for your coope ration and patience &

your generous and kind help are greatly appreciated.
